*Programmer, Full-time*

Intrigma Inc. is a software company located in Stony Brook, NY and is the
upcoming leader in the field of medical staff scheduling solutions. The
software features an automated scheduling engine which employs a unique
heuristic to optimize schedules.

We are a fast-growing software firm that delivers staff scheduling solutions
used by hospitals to optimize staff schedules for both physicians and
nurses. The solution is used in dozens of hospitals in three countries. We
are considered the newest killer app and are the fastest growing company in
our field.

Our SaaS product features very high usability and excellent workflow
automation.

We use many of the latest technologies in our work, and employ agile
development process (including TDD and CI, along with several other elements
of XP).

We are looking for excellent programmers who enjoy working on exciting
projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment – people who truly have a
passion for creating a leading-edge product and are fast learners.

*We judge our new hires based on talent and commitment more than past
experience*

Individuals who are looking for a nice, normal, 9 to 5, job need not apply.
We’re looking for tech geeks who like pushing the state of the art in
technology and enjoy this type of work.

So if you are a very good programmer with some or little experience, you
will likely be a good fit. We are ready to teach new hires professional
software design practices and test-driven development. Be aware however,
that the bar for programming skills is high.

This entry level developer position will involve:

• Rapid implementation of new features for our scheduling system

• Maintaining existing features

• Producing and executing test plans

• Diagnosing problems with the system

• Configuring the system, including our automated scheduling engine, for
new clients

• Communicating with clients and translating their requirements into new
feature descriptions for the scheduling system

Requirements:

• Experience with object-oriented programming

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills

• Excellent analytical skills

• Knowledge of C# and the .NET Framework (Java experience is also
acceptable)

• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Agile development or test-driven development experience a plus

Best,
