[Lilug] Dumb Thunderbird Question

Yeah, the username is ken at secdat.com. The server is server.example.com.
When it goes to authenticate, it tries to log on as
'ken at secdat.com@server.example.com' how the f*** do I turn this off?
Seems to me this really ought Just Work.
