[Lilug] Important! Great news and thanks

Hi

 	Thank you so much to the members of LILUG for harassing, 
cajoling, and generally bugging the people in your careers and lives 
(including yourselves) in an attempt to find LILUG a place to meet every 
month.  We are not a small group and nothing fails like a success.  We 
are well past meeting in any old sized room we can find.

 	I have great news.  LILUG has a new meeting place as of our 
February meeting.  Paul, the VP of LISTnet has a space called the digital 
ballpark.  A building a mere 4 blocks or so from our current meeting 
place!

 	Paul came by the meeting last night and showed Chris and I around 
the new location.  50 people (our largest meetings) should not be a 
problem.  The format (and cost) of our meetings need not change at all!

 	Even better as fellow a non profit dedicated to tech incubation 
listnet is a kindred spirit to LILUG.  Time will tell if our groups can 
grow together, but this is the first time since our inception our host 
organization shared such a similar mission to our own!

 	Next meeting will be held at CSHL Woodbury on 1/10/17 at 8pm. 
This will be our final meeting at CSHL

 	The February meeting will be held Feb 14th at 8pm, at Digital 
Ballpark, 100 Terminal Drive in Plainview.  There is a dedicated 
parking lot.  Please be aware this is Valentines day.  :)

Please don't forget to say thank to CSHL!  They truly have been a 
gracious host.

Say thanks to Steve the guard next month when we have our final meeting 
at Woodbury.  He has entertained some wacky requests and handled odd 
situations, and always been helpful.

And last but not least please say thanks to Bill Burns who stuck his neck 
out for us hosted 6 years of meetings at the lab.  Who has attended every 
single meeting!!!
