[Lilug] Picnic This Saturday!

Greetings Folks!

The OFFICIAL LILUG picnic is THIS SATURDAY!
(August 24, 2024 for the calendar obsessed)

It's a joint affair (as in co-sponsored, not that special stuff) with Island Labs and ICON Science Fiction.

Bethpage State Park Picnic grounds.  LILUG representation will probably start with Matt, Lee, and Jeff showing up sometime between 11am and noon, but you can show up when you want - ICON expects to have people there as early as 10am.  Maybe earlier.

We did this with ICON last year - if you joined us then, it's the same place.  If you've just been to our classic LILUG picnics, it's bigger - look for stuff that says ICON and take a walk up the hill - we have a pavilion, but NOT the one close to the parking lot - it's the one up the hill.  Take a walk up, you can't miss it!

You can still come if you don't register, but we do encourage everyone to register.

Why Register?

  *   Gives us an idea of how much food to bring
  *   Lets us know if you're bringing stuff to share
  *   Proves you're not a bot (or at least a dumb bot)

There will be games (Cards Against Humanity at a minimum) and I hear there are some baskets o' prizes and stuff.  Want to know more?  Come on down!
