I had to work with a similiar situation recently and highly recommend system rescue cd <br><a href="http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page" target="_blank">http://www.sysresccd.org/Main_Page</a><br>I would suggest creating a usb pendrive of it as well to have some persistent storage to write to. <br>
