Hey everyone

It just occurred to me today that we will be celebrating 15 years of
LILUG with our December 2013 meeting!!

First meeting was 2 Dec 1998:

Mike & I were talking today, as we were opening the new LILUG bank
account at TFCU, that maybe we want to do something special at this
meeting (and possibly continue to draw & retain newbies) by getting
pizza instead of donuts.

I told Mike we actually used to spring for pizza every so often during
the first year of the group's existence.  So it will be a bit
nostalgic ;-)

Anyway, we'll continue to drum up volunteers to give a quick talk on
favorite distributions.  So far we have Joe doing Puppy Linux, me on
CentOS 6.4, and Sagi Brody on Slackware.  Mike is leaning towards
being the Ubuntu guy, but I'll let him say if he's really able to do
it or not.

I'll get the wiki updated with at least the info about it being the
15th anniversary and about the elections/distro showdown.

PS - If you think it would make a cool 5-minute presentation in honor
of the 15th anniversary, I could put together a very quick slideshow
of our history that the officers could walk through at the December
meeting.  I have some interesting artefacts, like some of the old
sign-in sheets we used to do.
